ADA Grab Bar Installation in El Dorado
From Air Force tales to securing safety bars, discover how this challenging tile job took flight.
A recent project led me to a new referral customer, a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, who needed help with ADA grab bar installation. I was hired to install 10 ADA grab bars across three bathrooms to enhance safety. The process involved mounting eight bars through porcelain tile and two through drywall, some of which were located close to plumbing. This required the use of specialty drill bits, flip toggles, and structural screws where studs were available. As a former Air Force member myself, we connected over shared service stories while I worked. The project was challenging due to the hard tile, necessitating multiple hardware runs. But in the end, everything was secured, cleaned up, and left ready for safe daily use. If you’re in need of similar services, Get an estimate today!
